Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Naga, Cebu. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. – Unbuttered parsnip (talk) mytime= Tue 21:10, wikitime= 13:10, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit]- It was you who keep on reverting at the first place. You reverted my edits on 3 (just turned 4 as of 14:00, 22 December 2015 UTC) different occasions without edit summary. First revert had one though yet vague and unclear so with that being said, consensus never took place. We'll further discuss this in a dispute resolution.

Naga, Cebu talk page
[edit]I have already opened up a discussion regarding this issue. Let's talk and clarify this. HavenHost 04:05, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
Repeating reversions. Now actually positive editing, just reversing others work.
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

Whoever you are, get real. Mary McAllen (talk) 20:51, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Mary McAllen: I totally understand where you're coming from. Well as far as I know, whoever violates WP:SOCK should be the one to "get real" especially one who uses a female's name which is the other way around. Anyway, why focus on Central Visayas articles? You can contribute more on other Philippine geography articles though. Just saying. HavenHost 2:19, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
- I also believe this user is the same person behind User:Unbuttered Parsnip: edits the same type of articles, often reverts without discussion, and is dismissive of other editors' contributions leading to ownership-like behavior. It's a shame, this person clearly does good edits majority of the time, but the combative behavior is really unproductive. —seav (talk) 13:19, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
- Exactly seav! It is indeed a shame because this person has done positive and helpful edits in the past. His only problem is his ownership-like behavior. The guy's very combative and doesn't want to discuss things. He wants to edit articles on his own way and dismisses other editor's contributions. The guys also violates WP:CIVIL a lot of times and does personal attacks. I've already reported this user a number of times for multiple sockpuppets. He's get blocked all the time but keeps coming back. If only he'll participate in discussions to achieve consensus, then edit wars will be avoided moving forward. -HavenHost 5:42, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

A certain vegetable
[edit]I see that you & others have had some issues with a certain vegetable being disruptive on Cebu & related articles. Enough investigations have been launched that the veggie might have caught on and changed tactics. If so, y'all might take a cue from Talk:Global_warming/FAQ#Q20. 130.160.195.4 (talk) 20:01, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:16, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
