Speedy deletion nomination of Shea Stadium (music venue)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Shea Stadium (music venue) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2Joules (talk) 06:53, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Hatman92,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Shea Stadium (music venue) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shea Stadium (music venue) .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. CIreland (talk) 22:38, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Full Ginsburg. Plandu (talk) 22:39, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
I do not believe that the block was necessary to prevent damage or disruption, as I disagree with the accusation above that I committed vandalism, or that the edits I made were disruptive. Furthermore, I believe that the administrator chose to block me out of a desire to retaliate, disparage, and/or punish me, rather than to prevent imminent or continuing damage and disruption to Wikipedia, deter the continuation of present disruptive behavior, or encourage a more productive or congenial editing style within community norms. Hatman92 (talk) 04:41, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If you don't think your edits to Full Ginsburg are disruptive vandalism, then there's enough wrong with your judgment that Wikipedia is not the right place for you. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 06:56, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hatman92 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
My unblock request should be reviewed by a different administrator, as the above decline reason fails to respond to the substance of my unblock request, and instead makes an inappropriately personal accusation about my judgment. Please describe in detail how my edits constitute vandalism or were disruptive enough to merit an indefinite block. Additionally, please refrain from making assessments about my character, and instead address the substance of the reason for the block, so that if my edits were indeed disruptive, I may learn from my mistake and do better in the future. Hatman92 (talk) 18:07, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If you need to be told why this edit(for example) is inappropriate, and cannot figure it out yourself, then I would concur with Jpgordon in that you lack the skills and ability needed to participate here. This does not mean you are a bad person, and it was not suggested otherwise- once your skills and judgement improves, you can request unblock. I am declining your request at this time. 331dot (talk) 18:36, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
