Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Harryisourking. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Mixmag, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:42, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to censor or remove encyclopedic content based on the fact that it is not favorable to your company, as you did at Mixmag, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia is not censored, and attempts to censor encyclopedic content will be regarded as vandalism. As a WP:PAID editor, your WP:COI is taken seriously and you should be editing the talk page for the most part, not the article about your company! Toddst1 (talk) 23:15, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership of a page

[edit]

While you clearly have a problematic conflict or interest about Mixmag, this edit summary clearly indicates you believe you own that page. Asserting WP:OWNership of a page is highly problematic as is using Wikipedia to promote (or whitewash negative information about) your company. If you continue to edit that page directly, you will likely be blocked from editing. Per the guidelines at WP:COI, you should be proposing changes on the article talk page rather than editing the page directly. Toddst1 (talk) 15:06, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
