Just a few things

[edit]

Just a few things to help you:

  • Instead of signing your name by typing "hardy1956" each time as you did here, you can do this automatically by adding "~~~~" at the end of your posts. As well as a signature, this will add a timestamp to the signature.
  • Imdb and tv.com are not generally considered to be reliable sources.[1]
  • I've noticed that a lot of the citations that you add include a space between the punctuation and the reference. As per WP:REFPUNCT there should be no spaces, references should be placed immediately after punctuation. I've edited your sandbox to demonstrate this.[2]
  • Rather than force the number of columns in the "References" section by using "{{reflist|3}}", "{{reflist|30em}}" allows the browser resolution to determine the number of columns. --AussieLegend (talk) 12:43, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I've tagged a section of 12:01 (film) as a possible copyright problem. It actually looks to me like the IMDB may have copied what you put into Wikipedia but I can't tell properly. If you can say at the talk page of the article that would probably help anyone who is investigating thanks. Dmcq (talk) 13:29, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please DO NOT delete red links.

[edit]

Red links aren't some kind of an error - they're an invitation for people to expand Wikipedia. I ran across your edit to Ex parte Crow Dog while looking at some vandalism by another editor, and reversed it - according to my contributions log, it took a grand total of 9 minutes for me to find two sources to make a very basic stub article Wayne Ducheneaux to turn the link you deleted blue. (No, it's not a great article, but it's some basic informational data Wikipedia should have) If you want to "fix" a red link, you should do the same, but please, do not delete them and make it harder for other editors to spot deficiencies, unless they are truly things that can't or shouldn't ever be made into articles. (Which is pretty rare, and didn't apply in some other recent edits of yours I looked at) Wnt (talk) 03:49, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
