Linking to sections

[edit]

{{helpme}}

Hi! Can you help me?

I know how to link to a page, but how do you create a link to a specific section on a page? Either on the same page or linking to another page, but a specific section?

Thank you! Yumi ^_^

People generally use the header tags. The giant section tabs are written with "== TEXT HERE ==" and are just inserted before blocks of text. Subsections are written as "=== TEXT HERE ===" or "==== TEXT HERE ====". I

I hope that helps. If you have any questions, just ask. NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 21:53, 17 October 2008 (UTC) apparently, I answered it wrong. o.O Oops. Follow Garden's advice :) NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 21:57, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(ec) Hey there!
To link to a specific section we use Article#Section (with the hash key, # ). So, if you wanted to link to this section of your talk page, You'd link User talk:Happy yumi yumi#Linking to sections. Hope this helps! Garden. 21:55, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll play with it, thanks!!

tech stuff

[edit]

Hey Yumi,

Yeah, that was a little annoying, lol. I can try to search the web some more. All I know is what's listed on IMDb, which is where I got that. What info are you looking for? Cheers! (Indiefilmnut forgot his password (talk) 20:18, 18 October 2008 (UTC)).[reply]

Gotcha!

[edit]

No problem. I remember seeing FFTG on cable, thought it was great, so when I noticed it pop up on wiki, thought I'd help. There's probably not a whole lot more to tell on the tech end, but if I come across anything notable, I'll add it. Noticed you working on the Sky High page. Nice. :)(Indiefilmnut forgot his password (talk) 04:28, 19 October 2008 (UTC)).[reply]

Me sweet? ;)

[edit]

My students didn't always think so, when I was teaching. ;) Yumi, great job on the article. I was so thrilled to see one after I saw FFTG at one of the festivals. Where did you see it? (Heidi Grows Up 1938 (talk) 05:10, 20 October 2008 (UTC)).[reply]

Oh, the Granny Grace. Those look like fun. I going to check to see if the library has those issues. Thanks! (Heidi Grows Up 1938 (talk) 05:29, 20 October 2008 (UTC)).[reply]

Sky High edits and removals.
