This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/University_of_Michigan/Plants_and_Human_Health_(Fall,_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |

Gomphrena globosa
[edit]Nice work on the Gomphrena globosa article. However, the section on "Betacyanin Extraction and Identification" is too specific for Wikipedia. This level of detail isn't appropriate for a general encyclopedia article. Anyone actually interested in doing extractions would need a much more detailed source, while anyone who isn't actually interested in doing this wouldn't be interested in this section. In addition, it's far too close to giving "how to" advice, which is something that isn't permitted on Wikipedia. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:01, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
