Glanworth
[edit]Just curious about your recent edit of subject Glanworth. The entry was obviously vandalised a week or so ago, I noticed it yesterday but being from there, I found it hilarious so left it for a day. When I went to try and change it I found you had already done so. But how did you know? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mr rRobalot (talk • contribs) 15:55, 3 May 2007 (UTC).
- I just looked at the history, it was clear that no one had noticed it for a while, but it was definitely vandalism. I came across the article while stub-sorting. After the IPs vandalized, a BOT added the {{stub}} tag because the vandals removed the old one. When I went to change the tag to a more specific stub type, I noticed the vandalism and reverted it. - HammerHeadHuman (talk)(work) 17:34, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello, HammerHeadHuman. The Adopt-a-User program is looking for new ideas and input on the program. If you are still interested please stop by the talk page and read some of the ideas being floated and give a comment. Mediation
[edit]Do you have any advice to give a new mediator? Jac roe 00:45, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm a little new myself. But here is a little of what I have learned so far: It will help if you ask all parties for their approval of you as a mediator; this will make sure that they believe you are impartial through a review of your contribs. Don't pick a side, even if you do lean more toward one side, you need to make sure that both sides get heard without too much hostility. Make sure people know that your decision is not binding, and that it is up to them to implement the mediators action however they see fit. I have learned quickly that using other articles as precedent will not always go over smoothly, so I suggest that you become very familiar with the fiver pillars, WP:NOT, etc. Hope that helps! - HammerHeadHuman (talk)(work) 07:52, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Sprite Mediation
[edit]It seems recently a request for mediation on the sprite page has been put in. One(or possibly more) of the issues have been resolved unequivocally. The use of the photo, for one, is absolutely settled, as the photographer explicitly denied WP permission to use it as seen here. There is also a dispute whether this article should exist as it is, as seen here. I thought I would highlight these points to speedy up the process that I thought was working quite fine without outside help :) While I am assuming good faith, it appears to me that one party is not keen on exactly what or how important complete verifiability is here. Cheers Wikidan829 21:35, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
No need for mediation
[edit]One rogue administrator deleted the image and the section of the article and blocked me for 24 hours. The guy was way out of line, but what are you going to do. You get the quality of personnel you pay for ! 69.156.76.250 01:41, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
