Whangarei
Do you really think that "Whangārei" is the common English spelling of that city's name?? You must not have spent much time there recently, looking at all the signs there :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsfinlayson (talk • contribs) 00:38, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- I try to avoid reading street signs. But most recently published media use "Whangārei", and nowadays most people pronounce it as Whangārei rather than Whangarei. -- haminoon (talk) 00:45, 8 July 2018 (UTC)

July 2018
Hello, I'm Kiwilegal. I am replying to content with regards to Clive Edwards (politician). I have worked with Mr. Edwards in his law offices in NZ from 1980s to its closure in 1995. I have followed his career since and remain in contact with him from time to time. The content of the biography as it is at the moment, is inaccurate and sensational. The current version uses sources which are without real fact and half truth, although referenced to the sources websites, and provide a subjective rather objective depiction of his life and career. A majority of Mr. Edwards NZ legal and political career cannot be referenced without thorough research of internet content. The language of the biography requires fairness. For instance I see that you deleted Mr. Edwards honours sub-heading, saying it was 'probably false', meaning it was a dishonest representation on his profile, when records to the Queen's Birthday List of 1995 say otherwise. It is not a false claim, the gazette will need to be sourced to edit and publish. I do not wish to engage in any biography war with regards to Mr. Edwards page however it requires objectivity. It would shock persons that edited and created content to this page, that there are many persons, who respect Mr. Edwards and see him in a different light to how the profile reads currently, especially the many pacific island families he and Mr. Joe Fuimanono, his law office partner as well as the large group of lawyers that worked in their law offices, helped settle in NZ. I will in the next week experiment through sandbox and find the references required to make the changes required and delete content which is inappropriate or unnecessary. I hope you can assist in this process. You can reply again on my talk page. Kind regards. —Preceding undated comment added 06:44, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
