Re: "Would it be appropriate to announce a new wiki hosted on a non-mediawiki server here?" (Community bulletin board). I'm afraid not. The bulletin board is for wikipedia specific info only. Thanks for asking though :) -Quiddity 20:57, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So do you know of a section within the Wikipedia community and/or the wiki community at large where such a posting has a place?
I really don't know anything about the larger wiki community. But within Wikipedia's pages, it could potentially go under List of wikis#Culture and the arts (make a new film subheading). Though it might need to become more "notable" first? Ask about more places to put a notice at their talk page, and at Wikipedia:Help desk i guess. Good luck :) -Quiddity 02:07, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FILMS Questionnaire

[edit]

As a member of WikiProject Films, you are invited to take part in the project's first questionnaire. It is intended to gauge your participation and views on the project. At the conclusion of the questionnaire, the project's coordinators will use the gathered feedback to find new ways to improve the project and reach out to potential members. The results of the questionnaire will be published in next month's newsletter. If you know of any editors who have edited film articles in the past, please invite them to take part in the questionnaire. Please stop by and take a few minutes to answer the questions so that we can continue to improve our project. Happy editing!

The article Pick-up (filmmaking) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no references, no indication of significance.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. "C-47 disambiguation" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect C-47 disambiguation. Since you had some involvement with the C-47 disambiguation redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. DannyS712 (talk) 01:05, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
