This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of BBC Alba (TV channel), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Gaelic Digital Service. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 10:24, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

The Hits Radio (UK) → The Hits Radio
[edit]Hi there.
There is currently a discussion on a proposed move for an article you started a few days ago, in particular because of the use of "(UK)" in the title which is usually reserved to disambiguate subjects of the same name when I believe there is no need to in this instance. Please feel free to contribute at Talk:The Hits Radio (UK). Your input is welcome. Thanks. --tgheretford (talk) 21:18, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on List of channel VM Analogue, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of List of channel VM Analogue and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. De728631 (talk) 08:44, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. De728631 (talk) 08:52, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Virgin Radio in Canada
[edit]Canada uses a different regulatory system than the UK does for radio stations; the system here is virtually identical to that in the United States. The rule, as spelled out at Wikipedia:WikiProject Radio Stations is that North American radio station articles are titled with their legal call sign, not their on-air brand name. Thanks. [edit]please do not undo the edit of removing virgin media , it is not confirmed and there is no source to verify it, please do not say tvboy said it as most of his information speculative and not guaranteed--Andrewcrawford (talk) 13:01, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Dave (TV channel). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- JediLofty Talk to meFollow me 08:43, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Unless you can find a source that specifically says that "Dave will need to move to an new channel number" it counts as original research. -- JediLofty Talk to meFollow me 09:41, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- In the user defence considering the new chanenl watch which is sourced says it goign onto dave epg slot number then you want to explain how it original research it more liek common sense--Andrewcrawford (talk) 11:45, 23 September 2008 (UTC) and virgin do not give otu details nor do the uk chanenls so majority of the future events is Original research but i clean it up a lot and remove stuff that is known to be flase or jsut no source.

Little context in Alibi (TV channel)
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Alibi (TV channel), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Alibi (TV channel) is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Alibi (TV channel), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Image copyright problem with Image:HISTORY logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:HISTORY logo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 10:26, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Discovery Travel & Living (UK and Ireland TV channel)
[edit]Hello, Hamhillwill,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Discovery Travel & Living (UK and Ireland TV channel) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Discovery Travel & Living (UK and Ireland TV channel) .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,
