JetBlack Zions Machine
JetBlack is a fictional character that exists in the Matrix world within the Matrix Online.
His background reflects that of the surviving sentinel featured in Matriculated, The AniMatrix. He is part of the Zionist Faction known as Network Imperium of which he is Leader due to many contributions he has made within the Matrix.
JetBlack is a peaceful and helpful machine who has an affinity for human beings. Feeling
guilty or rather, understanding he failed to protect those who freed him, he now makes it his soul task to protect and serve humans who wish to be free. He has a fear of New Zion due to certain prejudice and doubt within the city. Being a Machine he needs constant maintenance, so is aided constantly by his operator and personal Technician Flux; who also drives and navigates for the Hover Craft Imperium.
JetBlack began his existence in the Matrix as a St. Nega Special Agent in an attempt to
become unnoticed in side the system. Being a program mind he was quickly consumed by the system's updates and lost alot of his previous memories. For 7 years he worked under the supervision of another Program called Agent Black.
When the system replaced Black, JetBlack or, Agent Moon as he was known to begin with, found
him self to be lost with out direction. He was then contacted by an exiled version of Agent Black who named him self Nemesai. He was given a choice to leave the systems hold and to hack his RSI code to hide inside the Matrix. This in-turn altered and awoke many of JetBlack's memory banks, causing him to realise why he entered the Matrix.
He woked for a faction called the Nemesis, lead by Nemesai where he was second in command.
Not fully understanding their exact role he was responsible for many assassinations and infiltrations of Zion forces. As he began to remember he came to realise he was doing the opposite of what intended to do. It was after the death of the first Human to join the exile faction that changed JetBlack's mind on his affiliation.
He agreed to complete one last job for his freedom from Nemesai, by assassinating Enigma; the
science officer of Anome. He was granted his freedom but was betrayed by Nemesai who attacked JetBlack with a Kill Code, stolen from the Merovingian.
Hours later in the real world, the Hovercraft Imperium picked up his signal and went to
investigate. Locating his Sentinel form they contacted their team inside the Matrix to find his RSI. Kilobit of Network Imperium began repairs on JetBlack's Sentinel with the aid of Flux, whilst Sixerz, and Minish located his RSI.
Having problems reactivating him they decided it was too late to save him. It was at that
moment that another force inside the matrix that brought JetBlack back to life, or reactivated him.
He was recruited to Network Imperium and given the Hovercraft Genesis; the ship of the crew
that freed JetBlack, along with Flux as his operator.
