[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pennyroyal Tea, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages French and Charles Cross (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hi, please can you stop leaving a space between your sentences and references when editing, as that is not how its supposed to be on Wikipedia. I have just been through and altered quite a lot of instances where you have done this in articles that you have edited.QuintusPetillius (talk) 20:03, 30 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm CASSIOPEIA. I noticed that in this edit to All Apologies, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:58, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Halpert, I recently restored the Been a Son article. What I have added probably doesn't need changing but if you have anything to add please go ahead. But remember it all has to be sourced to keep the article to a good standard.QuintusPetillius (talk) 17:03, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

Frances Farmer will Have Her Revenge on Seattle
[edit]Hi Halpert, I was just wondering if you were interested in collaborating in writing an article for the In Utero song "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle" ? I think it could be done in the same vein as "Scentless Apprentice" in that it was based in part on a book Kurt had read. However, I am struggling to find good sources to quote online. Nevermind has articles for most of its songs now so there is no reason why In Utero shouldn't as well. Cheers.QuintusPetillius (talk) 16:34, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

Talk to Me (Nirvana song)
[edit]Thanks for expanding the Talk to Me (Nirvana song) article. I was thinking we could do the same for the Nirvana song "Opinion" given that Love apparently planned to also give this song to either Iggy Pop or Mark Lannagen. Also, in 2015, Brett Morgan confirmed that he had a previously unreleased 12 minute version of "Opinion" that was subsequently cut from the Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings soundtrack, but I cannot find any proper sources for this. Nirvana articles
[edit]Thank you for improving the Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through the Strip article. I was wondering if you would want to start creating other nirvana articles because a lot of popular nirvana songs don't have articles. Let me know. Beatleswillneverdie (talk)
- I think all of the "popular" Nirvana songs have articles. On Wikipedia, its only if a song meets the required standard of notability that an article can be created. There are not really many other Nirvana songs that do not currently have articles that meet this level of notability. Maybe "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle" could be regarded as notable if enough information could be found (and sourced) to explain that the song was about the famous and controversial actress Frances Farmer.QuintusPetillius (talk) 10:05, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

You Know You're Right was a single
[edit]Hi, I have put You Know You're Right back in the singles section of the Nirvana template the reason being is that it was officially released a downloadable commercial single via iTunes and other online stores, separate from the album, and with it's own artwork. There were no countries counting downloads towards their main singles chart back in 2002 and its peak of 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 was earned entirely from its peak of 43 on the Billboard Top 100 Airplay (Radio songs) chart, as at that point in time the ratio of sales to airplay was bigger for airplay than it was to sales. But it was still available as a commercial single - as a download as you will see from this link to discogs.com as evidence: [1]. Also, although we are not allowed to source charts from this particular website, top40-charts.com shows that You Know You're Right got to number 2 on the world-wide digital songs chart, so it seems to have sold quite well as a single, see link: [2]. Nirvana - Rape Me music video
[edit]@Halpert88 Hi, I noticed that in the Rape Me article you added that a music video script for the song was sold on ebay in 2003 and you quoted Gaar, p. 95 as the source for this. However, I think it is pretty certain that Gaar was mistaken there and that the video script that was sold was in fact for Pennyroyal Tea. Gaar is an excellent source for info on Nirvana but occasionally she does make mistakes. Cheers. QuintusPetillius (talk) 18:23, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
Nirvana - Something in the Way
[edit]Hi Halpert, with onging promo/streaming of Nirvana's "Something in the Way", it is likely that it will chart again, at least in the US. If this happens then as per guidelines it will need a second chart table to be added to the article with year "2022", especially if it charts on charts that it has not been on before or if it charts higher on the charts it has already been on. I suppose we will know on Tuesday for the Billboard chart update. Cheers.QuintusPetillius (talk) 18:55, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
