Please do not use Wikipedia to promote H3 or Mobile Entree.
[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Atamachat 21:48, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'll take you at your word when you say you don't intend to spam, I can understand that you might start with something you're familiar with when you start out as an editor. You haven't indicated this to be the case, but also be careful that if you are affiliated in any way with the companies you're writing an article about, that can present a conflict of interest, whether they're paying you to work on the article or not. The company I work for as an IT professional actually has an article on Wikipedia and while I've read it a few times out of curiosity I've been careful not to edit it in any way. Anyway, please don't take it personally that I've asked for your articles to be deleted and if you have any questions about any future edits feel free to ask me. You're a good writer and if you're new to Wikipedia you catch on fast. -- Atamachat 21:38, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- Reply - Thank you for all of your support throughout this issue. I value all of your feedback and have worked to correct anything that could be perceived as promotional. In addition, I have been working frantically to gather more notable sources in order to satisfy Wikipedia guidelines as well as your recommendations. These two articles were my first which is why all of the edits and history logs reflect only work on them. It is my goal to participate in other content throughout Wikipedia but I need to see this through first. Finally, I posted some comments on your talk site and am hopeful that you can offer some advise regarding my user account. Kindest regards --Jason! (talk) 15:07, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Mobile Entree
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mobile Entree, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.-- Atamachat 21:57, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of H3 Solutions Incorporated

AfD Nomination: Mobile Entree
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Mobile Entree meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mobile Entree. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last seven days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. -- Atamachat 16:10, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Brian McNeil
[edit]Don't worry about him. Brianmc is not an administrator, he is a regular editor like you or myself. If anything, his negative post on your talk page only makes him look bad, and it's over at Wikinews anyway. I don't understand what his deal was, even if he thought you were spamming there are far more civil ways to warn someone. If someday you were nominated to RfA people are going to look at the contributions you've made to the encyclopedia, your conduct in dealing with other editors, and they will quiz you on your knowledge of Wikipedia policies and eventually determine your judgement in handling Wikipedia issues before approving or disapproving of your adminship. An attack from some Wikinews reporter isn't going to matter, and you've already responded appropriately to him. -- Atamachat 16:06, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
