Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (R129), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page V12. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ways to improve Adirondack Balloon Festival

[edit]

Hello, Hallöchennochmal,

Thank you for creating Adirondack Balloon Festival.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thanks for creating a page about this popular event series. Given its long history its very likely that sources independent of the festival exist, and these should really be used to help justify the notability of the topic.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Copyediting

[edit]

Hi Hallöchennochmal, I've noticed that in some of your recent copyedits, you've made changes that incorrectly change the meaning of certain sentences:

  • In this edit, you changed used North Philadelphia station as their only Philadelphia stop to made stops exclusively at North Philadelphia station. It being the only Philadelphia stop is important context, and your wording makes it sound like North Philadelphia was the only intermediate stop on the whole route.
  • In this edit, you changed lasting into 1990 to lasted into 1990. Your wording made it sound like the change was reversed in 1990, rather than it being noted on timetables as "temporary" until at least 1990.
  • In this edit, you changed before initiating the modern Lake Shore Limited in 1975 to before taking on its current name of Lake Shore Limited in 1975. This incorrectly implies that the train was renamed in 1975, rather than beginning service in 1975. Additional, a citation is not needed for that fact in the lede because it is cited in the body - see MOS:LEADCITE.

I understand that these can be somewhat subtle, but please do take care when copyediting. If you're not sure about a wording, it's better to ask on the talk page. Thanks, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 21:41, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Pi.1415926535, thank you very much for pointing these out to me. I will be much more cautious with my revisions from now on, and I hope that the previous mistakes weren't too much of an inconvenience. Hallöchennochmal (talk) 22:37, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
