- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page to follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons' policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring and sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account or IP being blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

[edit]Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. - Hello. First of all, if you have a personal connection, there is a conflict of interest. The content would have to be released under this site's license, whether or not you own the copyright. This essentially places it in the public domain which I never recommend. Finally, there is no advertising allowed here. I can sympathize having visited Haleiwa (I still have a Matsumoto's license plate frame on my truck), but I'm afraid that the content can't remain. I hope this helps. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 14:58, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Hi again. Please don't simply repost this information. It violates copyright laws whether or not you own the copyright and violates this site's rules regarding advertising. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:06, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I did respond and no, with all due respect, I will not restore the content. This is not an advertising site, the content is not suitable for inclusion and I would respectfully suggest that you read WP:NOT and WP:ADVERT. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:22, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- That's fine for a Facebook posting, but please understand that this is neither a social networking site nor a bulletin board. The article space is reserved for content of general worldwide interest. Again, I sympathize, but this is simply not the place to post a notice for a meeting in a small town on Oahu. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:42, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Because those are all notable, worldwide organizations. I must warn you; you are right on the verge of being blocked for uncivil behavior. Please review the links I provided and please stop trying to use this site to promote your cause. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 06:49, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
