Information icon I noticed that you have posted comments in a language other than English. At the English-language Wikipedia, we try to use English for all comments. Posting all comments in English makes it easier for other editors to join the conversation and help you. If you cannot avoid using another language, then please provide a translation into English, if you can. If you cannot provide a translation, please go to the list of Wikipedias, look in the list for a Wikipedia that is in your language, and edit there instead of here. Overlinking

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, in your recent edit to NCAA v. Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. —ShelfSkewed Talk 13:27, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the warning, I will be more careful. 195.174.125.96 (talk) 14:02, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Related to this, I have removed your addition to Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani (prime minister) for the time being. There is no need to add links to unrelated terms like years or common nouns that aren't really related to the main topic. More importantly, some of your links were added within the formatting of an image, which then prevented the image from displaying properly.
It looks like you also added some content regarding a meeting with a minister. That would be fine to resubmit. Thank you for including a source, though please do format it - the most basic way is by surrounding the url with ref tags, like this: <ref>www.citation.com</ref> Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 05:15, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@JessicapierceNo doubt I will be more careful. There was an incorrect entry, I wanted to edit it again, but you intervened quickly. Thank you for your warning and help. Hakdemr (talk) 21:01, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your response.. but you're still doing it. I have removed your unnecessary addition of links at Zumtobel Group and Lobel's of New York, some of which were within citation titles and caused formatting/display issues.
Your efforts are welcome here, but please get a better sense of Wikipedia conventions before contributing further. Otherwise, you're creating unnecessary cleanup work for others. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 22:23, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please don’t mark major edits as minor

[edit]

Hello @Hakdemr

I just noticed a new section you added to Gas in Turkey which you marked as a minor change. Minor changes are explained at Help:Minor edit. If you still want to add that info please could you explain why at Talk:Gas in Turkey Chidgk1 (talk) 19:20, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
