April 2015

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm BranStark. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Zold— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — BranStark (talk) 15:19, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We have got everything at Odoo, that user only replaced 'Odoo' with 'Zold'. Hajme 15:24, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted the redirect because Zold seems to be some kind of computer language (sorry excuse my ignorance - not my strong point) whereas the redirect was to a place in Romania - FârdeaBranStark (talk) 15:27, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thanks for your contributions to Ottó Herman. Please note that all content must be verifiable. Please consider adding sources and inline citations, even if from a translation of other Wikis (e.g. the Hungarian article), to ensure the article remains verifiable, and to facilitate future expansion. Non-English sources can be used when no others are available, per WP:NONENG. Cheers! --Animalparty-- (talk) 18:12, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers! I am going to insert them soon. Hajme 07:11, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Also, it looks like you translated directly from the Hungarian article. I'm not sure if English (or Hungarian) is your first language, or whether you used machine-translated text (like Googe Translate), but some of the grammar can use some cleanup. I'll try to improve where I can, but not being fluent in the original language, I may have to simplify things a bit: I feel it's better to omit some text if it improves comprehension, rather than keep text that is confusingly translated, or introduce factual errors, per WP:MACHINETRANSLATION. --Animalparty-- (talk) 23:32, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

April 2015: Anthony Carter reversion

[edit]

Hello Hajme, I am really confused about why you reverted my edits on Anthony Carter. I didn't actually change his height or weight like what the tag said: changing height and/or weight. I only took away a space in between to organize, but it said that because the filter considered that an edit to the height and weight part of the infobox. Everything makes mistakes, so things don't always turn out the way they look. Can you give me a brief explanation about the standard of formatting? Or is there anything wrong with that edit? Or did it just not appear constructive? The reason why I did that is because other editors format retired NBA players' articles like that. For example, see Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Shaquille O'Neal. For more recent retirements, see Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, and Steve Nash. So many articles about retired players are formatted like that, but not this one, and I am here to correct it. —174.61.229.206 (talk) 17:39, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have restored part of the content I added because I feel it was constructive. Tell me your opinions about my edits please, because I am really confused on what's the problem with these edits. I don't feel like discussing this on Talk:Anthony Carter because this is not a really big deal that a lot of Wikipedians should get into. —174.61.229.206 (talk) 18:11, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
