[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page St. Bernard Project has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/pages/st-bernard-project/30986152451?ref=ts).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:36, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Hurricane Katrina. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. just a little insignificant 20:54, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
St. Bernard Project
[edit]Look, the article as you've written it is a blatant advertisement with little encyclopedic value. So here's the rundown:
- Facebook, Myspace and YouTube links are not permitted.
- Do not advertise for volunteers on this site. This is an encyclopedia, not free web space.
- Language like "we are" and "join now" will be removed on sight.
You have links to the Manual of Style and other Wikipedia policies above, in the big scary welcome template of doom. I would recommend taking a look at those. If you have any questions ask me on my talk page. I'm going out of my way to assume good faith here. so don't let me down and turn out to be just another spammer or vandal. Good luck. just a little insignificant 21:19, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oh no, I completely screwed up. Your edits were fine, I just didn't track their beginning. I had assumed the ad-like format of the article stemmed from your edits without looking into it. Apparently I do have a problem with AGF, need to be more careful on that. :P Anyway, please come back, thank you so much for your work! just a little insignificant 22:14, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
