Apparently; this proposed rule does not apply to Categories in Parenthesis. Further ruling decision making on both issues should be considered before posting any other revision(s). In balancing the progressive scan of site-wide content, the category revisions should be addressed with greatest priority. Pages of articles created by various authors should edited and augmented at the author's discretion.
Pages in books; although may be considered superfluous when embedded with parenthesis, generally are an exception of the proposed ruling due to the fact that books are edited, not created thus differentials in building author/editor credentials are considered enforceable. Enforcement proposals should be code-ready, with scope and templates pre-defined and policed for any suggestive and or direct editing not complying with acceptable automated system message generation.

Parenthesis in article titles are usually due to a need to distinguish between two similarly named topics. However in books, context is often clear enough that the parenthesis are superfluous. For example in a book on basketball Robert Smith (basketball) can be renamed Robert Smith without confusing the reader. To do this, simply write [[Robert Smith (basketball)|Robert Smith]]. Although this should not happen very often, it is possible that some articles should keep their parenthesis. For these, simply write :[[Robert Smith (basketball)|Robert Smith (basketball)]] <!--This Robert Smith can be confused with Robert Smith (baseball), also present in this book -->This will let editors (and WildBot) know that this is intentional. The comment must be below the link, if it is on the same line, the PDF will ignore the article.
