[edit]Hello, I'm Ifnord. I noticed that you recently removed content from Hawaii Baptist Academy without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The content you removed had references. Please discuss any such changes on the article's talk page. Ifnord (talk) 19:28, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Hawaii Baptist Academy, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Wikipedia content is based on published sources, not our personal knowledge. If you feel the content is not accurate discuss it on the talk page and reach consensus before make further changes. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Hawaii Baptist Academy. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Gab4gab (talk) 21:06, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
- HSMT2002, Thank you for your comments on my talk page. I'll reply to questions you asked here for your convenience. Often consensus can be reached by discussion on the article talk page. If not then there is further guidance to be found at WP:DISPUTE. Naturally organizations prefer to avoid negative content in a Wikipedia article about them. However they have no ownership of the article. Content is selected by editors reaching consensus. Consensus is not judged on a numerical vote. There's a helpful discussion Wikipedia consensus here. Editors connected to article subjects are discouraged from editing them directly per the conflict of interest guidelines. Editors who are paid for their contributions are required to disclose that information. See WP:PAID. I hope this is helpful to you. Gab4gab (talk) 17:19, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
