  • In this case, it helps to focus with only the basics and also independent sourcing, such as major independent news, and not simply announcements, notices, press releases or similar, since they would not be significant. SwisterTwister talk 23:32, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. overlooked. If you post an article it will be assessed as it stands. If you don't want that to happen, you should write it as a draft. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management.
  • Your text was completely unreferenced, the only so-called in-line reference actually being a plug for your own book. There is nothing in the text to suggest notability, such as verifiable membership and staff numbers, income and expenditure. Instead, you just promote your organisation
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims and opinionspresented as fact include: dedicated to... considered worthy of preservation... a supportive, collegial environment... A group of concerned citizens was determined not to let that happen... some of the most consistent historical resources... A complete index of HSFF reports is available on the HSFF website and so on, basically a press release
  • the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Some of the text was definitely copied from the HSFF website. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
  • Your user name suggests that you have a have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are paid directly or indirectly by the company you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:HSFF. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=HSFF|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.
  • Your account will be blocked because its name violates our rules. It looks as if multiple accounts are being used by your organisation, which is not permitted if they are used to evade blocks. Those accounts will be blocked if they are used to post similar text while this account is blocked. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:07, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, HSFF, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:07, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
