re: Hello, Professor Piotr!

[edit]

Good job completing the assignment!

1) For that video, one blog is enough, but you can do more blogs for extra credit.

2) I'll will make an announcement that group creation is delayed

3) yes, but sometimes it can be just one subject, if the topic does not exist in either language. If you are translating, then it will probably have to be two subjects. Note: it's one subject per person, so you can start on your topic early before the groups are created

4) you should start the wiki individual assignment this week. I will make a video explaining it in detail. Any time you save an page it counts as one edit, but please avoid doing a large number of very small edits, particularly late in the semester. I will expect that after few weeks each edit is more advanced then in the first weeks of classes.

5) You can tell me about which projects you chose in the next week or two, and you can do it by sending me a message here.

Questions are good. My apologies about the delay in our real classes. Take care, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:35, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the reply. I'll look forward to see you soon. @Piotrus: --GyongminM (talk) 03:11, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good start, but I the Korean Wikipedia article is already developed enough I don't think adding to it would be enough for the wiki assignment. But you can still work on it for regular extra credit. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:31, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll look for another. Thank you for answering. @Piotrus:--GyongminM (talk) 02:15, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Good ideas, I like them all, I replied in more depth on my talk page. You are learning wiki communication at an excellent rate :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:54, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply. I wrote another message on your talk page. --GyongminM (talk) 06:35, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notice. I commented in the article deletion page. --GyongminM (talk) 09:37, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, the article is very well formatted, I see you mastered the Wiki code very well! But as you realized, it unfortunately fails the WP:GNG guideline. Some buildings can be notable, see Wikipedia:Notability (buildings), which is why we have article about such things as Category:Skyscrapers in Seoul. But most apartment complexes are not notable. Interestingly, most units of administrative division are notable, so we can have article on Gojan-dong, Ansan. But generally nothing smaller than a dong is auto-notable - we need sources like newspaper articles and such to establish notability (importance). PS. Even if that article is deleted, your work on it will count towards your 10 edits per week and/or extra credit, so don't worry about it. Just try to find a topic for your next creation that is notable :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:02, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

re: Wikipedia assignment subject selection.

[edit]

Both topics are ok. You will receive the same amount of points as if you completed the group assignment. (Working in group is more difficult). Thank you about mentioning your post from few days ago. You are correct to ask about it as I did not see it (which is why I did not leave you a reply, sorry!). Good job! Bibliography means roughly the list of sources (books, articles, websites) you will be using in your project (article). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:55, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

re:About Babel Template

[edit]

Very nice job! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:10, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it certainly satisfies the Deadline 3 and is also worth some extra credit points, good job! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 00:41, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good job

[edit]

Making your weekly 10 edits. Keep it up! If you make more than 10 edits, each extra 10 edits (on average) will count for an extra credit point. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:47, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your encouragement. I'll keep it up. --GyongminM (talk) 14:06, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

출석체크 확인에 대해서

[edit]

Dayoungryu11 (talk) 14:40, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

re: Deadline 4. Outline for the projects

[edit]

Your outlines look very good. Actually, they are excellent! Keep up the good job, I don't even have any specific suggestions to offer at this point except when you are done, you should submit your work for the "Did You Know" Main Page feature on Korean Wikipedia. See the video about it in the Make Up Lectures section where I discuss how to do this. --~~

Thanks for the reply. --GyongminM (talk) 05:05, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Very good job

[edit]

Well done updating your signature, it looks pretty cool now! And yes, I think your references are also very good. Many people are not able to format them well, so many references on Wikipedia need fixing. But yours are in my opinion very good! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:27, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

[edit]

Very good job with your wiki assignments; I think you are No.1 wiki learner this semester. Here's a kitten for you :)

Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:52, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Piotrus:Thank you for saying so. But I couldn't have done it this far without No.1 wiki teacher. - GyongminM 17:09, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your feedback. I left a message on your talk page. -- GyongminM 07:17, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
