Did you use to work at Auspex?

@Digital27: I worked at Auspex from 1988 to 1994, at Computer Consoles and Sun before that, and at NetApp and Apple after that. I was the only Guy Harris at Auspex, although I was not the only Guy Harris at Apple, which is why I often received calendar notifications for meetings in Paris about phone systems in Apple's European offices.

If you want a famous Guy Harris, try this Guy or this Guy, neither of whom are me. :-) I don't even show up on a Google search page for "Guy Harris" until the very end, which shows a Wikipedia user page on the Simple English Wikipedia that just redirects to my non-existent user page on the regular English Wikipedia.
