Still seems necessary

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Orangemike. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to User:GuyStevens/sandbox seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The current version is promotional and full of fluffy crap, and would probably be deleted if posted as it currently stands. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:59, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article

[edit]

I have had a look at your draft article, and have some comments.

References should follow punctuation marks, not precede them. This may seem weird and illogical (it does to me), but it's a Wikipedia rule, and is something that is easy to get right.

More significant, references must be to reliable independent published sources. References to material published by the company itself are not acceptable. One day, I assume, you will want your draft to be accepted as an article; and if the editor judging it finds it has dozens of references but the first few are all unacceptable, he may not bother (as I haven't) checking the others. It's much better to have just a few references, to good independent sources that establish the company's notability. Maproom (talk) 09:58, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Maproom:Thank you for the input. I am having trouble reconciling the neutrality. I'm being factual, but I will look to use more independent citations and fewer references from the company. GuyStevens (talk) 13:28, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
