Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to International Standard Classification of Occupations, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

It appears that ClueBot made a mistake. Just a computer script... Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 03:44, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

This looks like a controversial merge to me. There is plenty to be said about primary healthcare that can be developed separately from Health care. You might instead consider merging it with Family medicine. JFW | T@lk 18:19, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I also left a link to rationale for merging at primary care. Take a look when you get a chance. Did you happen to make any other merges that others might interpret as inappropriate? Thanks. Jesanj (talk) 13:03, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree on any potential merger between "primary care" and "family medicine", although the two topics are closely related. I have learned about the impacts of potential controversy on the one hand, versus the benefits of being "bold" in editing as suggested by others. Thank you for the useful comments. I now make sure to have a merger suggestion first to stimulate debate, such as the recent merger proposal for Malaria Awareness Day with World Malaria Day. A cup of coffee for you!

Thanks for rewriting the clinical research associate article. It is an important concept but difficult to find sources on this specific profession. You did a great job. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:02, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Bluerasberry, just the "jolt" I needed. The article still needs more work, particularly in terms of certification and practice in different countries for a more worldwide perspective. But I hope this is a better starting point. Guptan99 (talk) 18:07, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of WHO South-East Asia Journal of Public Health

[edit]

The article WHO South-East Asia Journal of Public Health has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 15:30, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Having originally proposed this article, I object to its deletion as I believe it meets the standard of fulfilling a historical purpose in terms of promoting the generation and dissemination of original research and learnings from policy & practice in a less-resourced and often overlooked region of the world. I have also found references in PubMed, indicating the journal is internationally recognized (and added citation as such). I have (reluctantly) removed the categorization of this journal as "public health journal" but believe it should minimally remain in the category of "WHO academic journal". I might add the article itself includes a number of inline citations, and other Wiki pages already link here. Guptan99 (talk) 13:19, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article WHO South-East Asia Journal of Public Health is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WHO South-East Asia Journal of Public Health until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Randykitty (talk) 14:09, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
