Unblock request
[edit]GullibleRisk97 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
There is a block on my IP address (2001:8003:d99c:dd01:30f3:1697:53df:21ae). Looking this up on the Blocked users page, I note that the IP address block is set to expire on 17 June 2021. I am a new user, I have never edited on Wikipedia before, however I live with three other people and they may be responsible for whatever has led to this IP address being blocked. When I tried to edit a page, I was advised to request an account, which I did successfully (creating this account). However, I am still unable to edit. Can the IP address block please be removed? GullibleRisk97 (talk) 07:44, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Now blocked directly. Given the specific technical evidence here, you are either the same person as the previously blocked users, or are sufficiently close that we can't tell the accounts apart. I'm afraid if what you say is true, one of your roommates has destroyed any possibility of you editing Wikipedia; see WP:MEAT. Yamla (talk) 11:29, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Unblock request
[edit]GullibleRisk97 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I do not believe that WP:AGF has been followed in the decision made by User:Yamla. Yamla's comments in their denial of my unblock request indicates that they are not entirely sure of what they are saying. Yamla acknowledges that I could be telling the truth, and yet they still judges me as a liar. That seems to me to be the textbook definition of assuming bad faith. Unless Yamla is willing to state definitively that they think I am a liar, I find it grossly unfair that they have blocked my account indefinitely.
Additionally, my user page (User:GullibleRisk97) accuses me of being a sockpuppet and claims "Please refer to editing habits or contributions of the sockpuppet for evidence." This statement is a fallacy, as the only editing activity on this account is filing an unblock request. I have not made any edits to Wikipedia pages and consequently I fail to see how my editing activity can be used as evidence. It seems to me that any objective observer would count that "evidence" as inadmissible.
Can I please request that a third party (that is, a user other Yamla) review Yamla's findings, as I fail to see how someone with a shred of objectivity could possibly back up their flimsy judgement.GullibleRisk97 (talk) 05:34, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Confirmed sock puppet. Appeal on your original account. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:17, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
