New Appomattox Court House
[edit]The proposal is that the present article to be renamed to New Appomattox Court House, which is the "modern" courthouse. Then "Appomattox Court House" to become a short of disambiguation page that lists Appomattox Court House National Historical Park and New Appomattox Court House. When a reader clicks on the blue link of "Appomattox Court House" then they get this disambiguation page that lists these two. The reader then can pick the one they really meant to get
- Appomattox Court House National Historical Park - place Lee surrendered to Grant, now a historical park.
- New Appomattox Court House - the modern courthouse where the locals file lawsuits, etc.
Does that help.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:09, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
Notification of RFC for Korean MOS in regard to romanization
[edit]Hello! You contributed in some capacity to at least one of the recent discussions concerning romanization of Korean for historical topics. Should we use McCune-Reischauer or Revised for topics relating to pre-1945 Korea? If you are inclined, please contribute here. Hijiri 88 (聖やや) 06:28, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

In case you are still unaware of this discussion, there is a new discussion for renaming New York to New York (state). As you participated in the previous discussion on this topic, you may want to express your opinion in the new disussion. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 04:22, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
