Barnstar
Thanks. I am also accepting tigers on my user page.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:01, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
FSC
I think your graduation was today, if I recall. Congratulations. Thanks for taking time to evaluate such a lengthy file. Hopefully, you can take some time now with some of the shorter ones that are much older and much more in need of evaluation. Thanks again.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 20:44, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you tony. It was the greatest thing I have ever experienced. I will try to get through them on Sunday when I return from camp. cheers --Guerillero | My Talk 05:32, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

African-American Civil Rights Movement (1955–1968)
I don't understand your edit at African-American Civil Rights Movement (1955–1968). If you don't like the image where it is rearrange it, but don't remove it, IMO.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:49, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Tony the image and the sounds take up the whole area where text should be. The image feature is almost never used for that reason. --Guerillero | My Talk 03:51, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- We can rearrange the images, but please WP:PRESERVE the content there and at Voting Rights Act.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:53, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Preserve is about text and your only supposed to preserve content that would be kept in the final product. There are almost no GAs or FAs that use big images. It looks ugly and effectively sandwichs the text.--Guerillero | My Talk 03:58, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- I have rearranged both uses.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:51, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

smallest
Why did you do the Hispanola anthems rather than Roast Beef of Old England if you were doing smallest. RBoOE was the oldest and a fail, which takes less work.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 13:55, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Because I voted on that nom. I can't be a neutral closer. --In actu (Guerillero) | My Talk 16:49, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Audio only
What do you think of adding an audio only versions of your Prohibition newsreel for the slow connection user?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 20:34, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- I am ok with an audio only version of the newsreel being made. I am HIGHLY opposed to it being a FS. --Guerillero | My Talk 21:10, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- I was suggesting that you create one for the users who need it.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 21:56, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Maps
Hi Guerillero:
Thanks again for the maps! If you don't mind, and before you take off for Scout Camp, may I ask a couple of things be modified, and then please send the maps to me at my WMF email if you don't mind?
1. Please make the colored lines heavier so they show up better?
2. Please place the station names prominently at the beginning of each line, along with the train name the traveler should take.
I'm very excited for you going to Camp. My husband and I are Venture Crew Leaders, and he's also a Scoutmaster and Cubmaster. I don't know where you are, but here in Northern California I'd have to say Camp Royeneh is my favorite. I've never been to Philmont, but many people I know have and I hear it is awesome. Have a wonderful time!Mgonzaleswmf (talk) 20:27, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- ummmm....I'm not sure I can. All I did was the tedious process of inserting the point into google maps; however, I will see what I can do on google earth. cheers --Guerillero | My Talk 20:29, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- thank you very much...can you go ahead and send me the maps as they are now to my WMF email just in case? I can't seem to find what you sent before...Mgonzaleswmf (talk) 20:33, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Skye Boat Song
It's not great, but I have a feeling that bagpipes are just plain hard to play in tune at the best of times, especially in ensemble (both the drone and the melody suffer from tuning "wobbles"). The breaking out into parallel thirds is weird: I've never heard that before; I wonder whether it's traditional or a quirk of that performance. The "trad" recording you linked to is a solo, so the tuning is less of a problem, but I find it grating compared with the mass performance. I hate them both, but I'm unsure whether the delist nomination should succeed. Do we have other bagpipe FSs? I love Durova's comment: "the bagpipe is not a musical instrument but an instrument of torture." Tony (talk) 08:59, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
- I will think over your comments. (I am personally a big fan of bagpipes) --Guerillero | My Talk 22:43, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Central American national anthems
I am getting use to you doing closings over time, but I am wondering if you forgot to finish the last batch of nominees.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:30, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
- I swore I did them. I will check --Guerillero | My Talk 00:32, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Blanket oppose on audio duplicates of videos
Please do not blanket oppose audio duplicates of videos. The proper procedure is to determine, which audio duplicates are so useless to WP that they should be removed from articles. If the audio file serves a purpose on WP that makes it useful in articles it is an eligible nominee. Look at Wikipedia:Featured sound candidates/Boccherini's Sonata for Two Cellos in C Major (audio). You have a 1.95MB audio file and 89.18MB video file. Does the 1.95 audio duplicate have value to the encyclopedia? If its encyclopedic value in the face of the video is zero or negligible, remove it from the article. If you think having a file that is nearly 50 times smaller has value to the encyclopedia, leave it in the article. In terms of WP:FSC, it should be just like WP:FPC, where any file serving a useful enough purpose that it is in an article (you can question the stability of the addition of a file to an article and even require that it be in an article for 30 days if you have serious doubt about its stability) it is eligible. Given this fact, you must evaluate it against WP:WIAFS. If you find it frustrating to evaluate an audio duplicate against WIAFS, please abstain from discussions.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 10:26, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
- I will no stand idle as you game the process to stroke your ego. My job as a director is to ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible and recises high quality sound and video files. You actions fly in the face of both of those things.--Guerillero | My Talk 14:47, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Looking to find or make some sort of sound wrt fluorine
I'm working on Fluorine as an FA now. Challenging myself to think of a sound. It does have a distinctive click when the phases change at very low temp. Just like challenging myself in this way. Not sure if that is the angle, but I bet there is some way that a sound could be important. And I do think the user enjoys a variety of experiences (like on an alligator article, hearing their bellows).TCO (talk) 02:57, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
P.s. You didn't sign the TPS list over at my talk page (scroll down).TCO (talk) 02:57, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

FWIW (straight edge)
I saw Minor Threat at UMD when I was in high school. They told the audience, "this stage is yours as much as ours". And they meant it...very hard core. Did not even know they were in that genre until seeing wiki article (never followed music much).TCO (talk) 02:59, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

- I wasn't a punk. More of a nerd, but who was on the wrestling team. Went cause a buddy begged and basically forced me to. Never really into concerts. But it was a blast. VERY physical. Not to hurt someone, but bouncing around pretty hard. (There were two big guys who got in a fight though.) My buddies all thought I was a maniac when I dived off the stage and all. But really...was not about the music...more the whole experience. Like that kinda gymnastics stuff. Couldn't imagine sitting at home and putting their stuff on in the background while smoking a pipe and reading Dickens. The guy just seemed like he was mostly yelling, not singing.TCO (talk) 03:08, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
