Welcome to Wikipedia, Gudgeme-Mendu! Your user account has been created.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia collaboratively written by many of its readers. Its sheer size means it's easy to get lost, so here are some pages to help you along. To learn about Wikipedia, see the index to our help pages. To customize the site's appearance and other options, change your preferences. For more information, consult some frequently asked questions. You can test your edits in the sandbox. Don't forget to sign your posts on talk pages by typing Gudgeme-Mendu (talk) 22:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC), but don't sign encyclopedic articles. Of course, you can't be expected to know all the policies and guidelines immediately, but you should still aim to learn the vital ones (neutral point of view, cite your sources to make articles verifiable, notability criteria and the manual of style) as soon as possible.[reply]

You are welcome to upload and insert images in articles, but it is imperative you follow the strict image use policy and respect the rights of the image's creator. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them: Wikipedia:Questions tells you the most appropriate place to post them.

If you still need help, you can place {{helpme}} at the bottom of your talkpage with a question.

Welcome

Hi, Gudgeme-Mendu. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  22:49, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Writing articles

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Prafulla D. Chawathe. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prafulla D. Chawathe. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
