- Hey, thanks for the kind message! You'll definitely find friendly editors throughout Wikipedia, and you already seem to be one of them. :) Regards, Sango123 (e) 00:22, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Steve Walsh
[edit]Regarding your edit to Nigel Pearson, could you explain who the two different Steve Walshs are? We should probably create an article for the "other" Steve Walsh if you are correct. --Jameboy (talk) 21:36, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the article link, that helps to clear things up (especially with the photo). I'm surprised that the articles about his appointment don't make the distinction though. I guess he would be considered notable enough for his own article. Cheers. --Jameboy (talk) 21:08, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Actually they probably make it clear enough, I don't know too much about Leicester though... --Jameboy (talk) 21:10, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
No, you're right about the confusion. Because people like chief scouts are usually only recognised names among their own clubs' fans (and often not even that) the immediate assumption of many Leicester fans when the first minor reports of the appointment came through was that it could only possibly be the former Premiership player. Inclusion in categories
[edit]In response to your posting on the talk page for [category:Welsh rock music groups] (to wit: "I am surprised by the omission of Man, whom I consider the godfathers of Welsh rock. Any reason for their absence, or simply an oversight?") --
you've been participating on Wikipedia since 2006, but only sporadically, so I guess you might not have encountered this datum.
Category pages are not meant to be all-inclusive. Rather, they're automatically-updated lists of all pages which contain the relevant category tag. If a given article does not exist, or exists but does not contain the relevant category tag, then it will not be listed on the page for that category. Simple, yes? 2018 FIFA World Cup squads
[edit]Listed in the lede section and the edit notice: The club listed is the club for which the player last played a competitive match prior to the tournament. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:16, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
