Begian women
[edit]See you created a article for third level league. Thanks. I also changed the first division since it is still active. Also added https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_football_league_system#Women.27s_system the women's pyramid. Maybe you can add one or two more levels. -Koppapa (talk) 12:23, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Invite to the African Destubathon
[edit]Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Should the women's football task force become WikiProject: WOSO? |
According to an op-ed in the recent Signpost, some editors think task forces and subgroups are dying in 2017. What do you think about forming our own WikiProject separate from WP:FOOTY? There's an on-going discussion of the potential pros and cons on the task force talk page. Input is welcome. |
New initiatives have been created for:
While WP:FPL lists only two women's top-division leagues as notable due to its "fully professional" criteria, did you know you can create an article on any player in any league as long as the references meet WP:GNG guidelines? Make sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}. Have some new articles in mind or see some that need improvement? Add them to the Open Tasks page if you'd like and other editors may be able to help. Need tips, assistance, or resources from other WOSO editors? Leave a message on the task force talk page. |
Thank you for your continued contributions to articles related to women's football / soccer (WOSO)! |

Hello WOSO editors! A few initiatives have been started with an emphasis on making more WOSO links blue (similar to the work that WikiProject Women in Red does) and filling in the gaps within various league, team, and player, etc. articles. If you're interested in collaborating with others to make more links blue, take a look at the initiatives listed in the box below. Sign up at the bottom of an initiative page and help grow the lists, add potential references, resources, and create the articles ... or create your own initiative.
WP:GNG takes precedence over WP:NFOOTY (which only includes the players in 1 active women's league)? Often times there is enough media coverage that meets WP:GNG or other notability guidelines. For more information, see WP:WOSO#Notability and be sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}

The article Saartje Corteyn has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't seem to be adequately notable for an article
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 09:55, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

Sources, BLP articles, and Tachina Peeters
[edit]Please remember that every article needs references right from the start, and in particular every article on a living person is likely to be deleted using BLPPROD if it does not have references. It's been more than half an hour since you edited Tachina Peeters, and I considered nominating it for BLPPROD, or draftifying it, but I found a source and added it. Next time, please add a source in the first edit in which you create the article. Thanks. PamD 08:17, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
January 2022
[edit] Hello, I'm PamD. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tachina Peeters, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. PamD 08:20, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- As above: I've fixed this by finding what looks like a WP:RS, but please do it yourself in future. The "Under construction" template isn't good enough: BLP articles need sourcing from the very start. PamD 08:22, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- I was surely planning to add a resource but than something came up. But in the future i sure will see that i add a source before posting. Thanks for the heads up. Grottem (talk) 14:06, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
