Mao Zedong
[edit]How do you do, sir (concerning that you are certainly many years older than I am). I hope you will be able to see this message without the user page, but I am Luthinya, who you probably knew as a contributor to the article discussion to Mao Zedong. As you have probably read- though I am so boring that you probably have not, rather- I am writing an essay concerning dictators and I have come to the part about Mao when I did this search on Wikipedia and found the disappointing results. I have read your commetns and found them extremely intelligent and interesting. I was wondering if you would be able to spend a little time sharing your views with me on the article and any other information you may have on Mao? It would be very helpful towards my research and the bettering of my understanding towards this most complicated character. You may post your messages to me a.s.a.p. on the talk page through the link beneath, under a similar heading that is already on.
Also- forgive my ignorance- I do not understand a certain comment you made on the Mao Zedong talk page. You said that I have pretty much 'removed the scales' in my assessment of Mao. Can you possible inform me on what this means? For quite frankly I seem unable to comprehend this remark. Also you should probably read my assessment fo Mao above the comments again- I have changed it so it's not quite so 'hot' and perhaps you may have more informative views upon it!
Thanks many times in advance for your patience! --User:Luthinya 13:13 25 January 2006
