Thanks for uploading Image:Humphrey de Trafford.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. I have replied to your comments about "excessive editing", and changing "accurate" to "inaccurate" information on my talk page, but I'm repeating it here in case you don't see that.

"What information are you referring to? So far as I'm aware the only information that I've removed is unsourced information that can be easily put back if and when a verifiable source is found. And if you're aware of any inaccuracies then please feel free to point them out. I have been working on the Stretford article in an attempt to get it up to GA standard, and to pass its current GA review. So any help you can provide would be much appreciated."

Perhaps because of some original research you've carried out you may believe some information to be inaccurate, but I'm afraid that's not enough. It has to be verifiable, with third-party sources. Wikipedia:Verifiability --Malleus Fatuarum 21:05, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

St Augustine (Parish and University Chaplancy)

Hi, thanks for your help on the edits. I see you have deleted two of the entrys for St Augustines. The original entries were made to show that three churches had stood on that spot and the dates they were there. There are other examples of this with other churches. Do you not feel that this could be helpful? I'm would like to clarify a tone for the article so as not to waste my time entering data which others feel is useless. Hi Anthony, You will find that most of these Parishes have had their churches rebuilt at least twice and usually on totally different sites each time, for example St Mary's, Levenshulme is onto its third church and each one was located in different parts of the district. St Augustines Parish was founded in 1820 and has been housed in a total of four different churches on three different sites, however all the sites were within a relatively small radius of each other and personally I would think that each Parish only needs one entry. If we began putting in a seperate entry for each incarnation of each church then it would not only get unusuably long but also very confusing.
With St Augustines as it is one of the earliest and most historically significant Parishes in the Diocese, I have been planning to write a Wikipedia page of its own at some point in the future covering St Augustines Parish. (Greg78uk (talk) 18:01, 11 December 2008 (UTC)).

Can you explain the reason for your recent addition to the Frances Lennon talk page regarding biographies of living persons, stating that "Controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libellous" what exactly is it on that page that you feel is controversial, poorly sourced or potentially libel.User:greg78uk (talk) 21:14, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bishop Brain has been the subject of critical comments in correspondence to the local newspaper in Rochdale (see ‘Action on convictions’, Rochdale Observer, Readers Letters, P22, 29 October 2008) and in contributions to a national academic conference on child abuse in September 2009 (see http://www.baspcan.org.uk/files/WS6%20-%20P.Gilligan.pdf ). These comments have focused on his alleged failure to answer questions regarding the ongoing canonical status of priests from his Diocese who have been convicted of criminal offences against children and sentenced to serve terms of imprisonment of 12 months or more. Jose Gutierrez Guerra's personal papers kept at his presidential archive, administered by his grandson Jose Gutierrez Guerra Cano in La Paz, Bolivia fail to mention St. Beads. These papers contain correspondence between president Gutierrez Guerra and his family. We suspect the error to be traceable to a newspaper article based on incorrect information. However, if you have access to St. Beads historical or admission records that suggest otherwise, please share this information. These papers are in publication, and we would like to include St. Bedes if he attended, as claimed.
