Non-free use disputed for Image:GW2 logo.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:GW2 logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:06, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Wrong Account
I think you editing here with the wrong account. :) Could you maybe delete that revision and make it under the G! account? You don't have to, but it makes the history look nice. (and if you do, keep the other deleted non single letter ones deleted.) Thanks! --(Review Me) R ParlateContribs@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 22:05, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- Us single letters gotta stick together, you know? -N 23:42, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- *laughs* I barely qualified! R: I deleted my revision earlier. Greeves (talk • contribs) 23:57, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ubuntu Home Server
When closing a deletion debate such as you did for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ubuntu Home Server, please be sure to remove the deletion tag from the article. I've taken care of this one[1]. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 01:43, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
My recent RfB
Thank you so much for your participation in my recent RfB. Though it closed with 72% support (below the required 90%), I'm still quite pleased at the outpouring of support shown by a fair percentage of the community.
I'm currently tabulating and calculating all opposing and neutral arguments to help me better address the community's concerns about my abilities as a bureaucrat. If you'd like, you can follow my progress (and/or provide additional suggestions) at User:EVula/admin/RfB notes. Thanks again! EVula // talk // ☯ // 03:56, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Wikitainment Guides
Hi, you put your name in the list of interested users of the Wikitainment Guides proposal. I'm just writing to let you know we're now totally online and ready to grow at http://www.pop-cult.org/Wikitainment/, but we're looking for editors and publicity. I hope you're still interested. -Wikitainment Sysop 04:24, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't mean to erase the previous comments. I think there was something wrong with wikipedia or my computer at the time I posted the message. I just tried to let you know about the Pop-cult site Right now, 20% of our articles can be found with Google, I estimate we'll have the 100% in a week or so. the problem is that we need editors to improve the quality in order to improve our popularity. We would appreciate any help you could provide. -Wikitainment Sysop

July 2007 GAC backlog elimination drive
A new elimination drive of the backlog at Wikipedia:Good article candidates will take place from the month of July through August 12, 2007. There are currently about 130 articles that need to be reviewed right now. If you are interested in helping with the drive, then please visit Wikipedia:Good article candidates backlog elimination drive and record the articles that you have reviewed. Awards will be given based on the number of reviews completed. Since the potential amount of reviewers may significantly increase, please make sure to add :{{GAReview}} underneath the article you are reviewing to ensure that only one person is reviewing each article. Additionally, the GA criteria may have been modified since your last review, so look over the criteria again to help you to determine if a candidate is GA-worthy. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the drive's talk page. Please help to eradicate the backlog to cut down on the waiting time for articles to be reviewed.
You have received this message either due to your membership with WikiProject: Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. --Nehrams2020 23:20, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

MfD Date...
Hey, thanks for fixing the date on that MfD I posted... I have no idea, why Twinkle set the date so far in the future... Or why I didn't notice either. Thanks! --SXT4 15:05, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

THIS IS AN ANGRY LETTER! YOU DELETED ALL MY PAGES! I NEVER GOT TO PRINT THEM OUT! YOU DELETED ALL MY TIME! I AM A WRITER! YOU ARE SO ON MY LIST! (okay... i have no list) BUT! I AM MAD! PLEASE ANSWER ME. BEATLES RULE!!! go fonz! 20:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hello. There is no need for caps lock. Please remain calm and civil. Your subpages were deleted as a result of a recent community discussion (located at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Subpages of FonzieBaby). Wikipedia is not a free web host I'm afraid. I will give you the opportunity to print them out, however. Simply provide me with an e-mail address and I will send copies of the pages to you (like it says on my userpage) as long as you remain civil and do not recreate them as sub-pages of your Wikipedia userpage. - Not sure if you were or weren't using it, but in the future, Special:Prefixindex might help with that. 65.93.29.95 13:25, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Unusual Adoption Request
Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.
Thank you!

HI!
Hi, im a noob and id like to ask(please put it on my user page) how can you do all those cool things with ur page like the banner, the little boxes etc.
Slightly confused
I added a paragraph to the Winnipeg Free Press article.
But the paragraph underneath the one I added no longer seems to be formatted correctly. What did i do wrong?

- Hi! The problem was that in front of the paragraph that starts with "The newspaper was for many years a prominent banner..." had a space in front of it. I do not know why it does that however. In my "diff", (the comparison of my edit to the last revision of the article) you cannot see spaces at the beginning of a paragraph. One of the many mysteries of MediaWiki software...
- By the way, after your message simple type four tildes (

) to sign your message with your name and the time that you posted it. Greeves (talk • contribs) 03:43, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
My RfA
Hi, Greeves, and thanks for your participation in my RfA. I've withdrawn it, and will be writing up an "analysis" of it, which will soon be available at User:Giggy/RfA/Giggy when it's done. Please come around when you get the chance, and give me feedback on how I can improve. Thanks again, Giggy UCP 04:13, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
