[edit]Aloha! Whilst editing, I came across an article using Image:Image-Divje01.jpg, which you uploaded. You've stated that you created the image, but haven't specified a license. Unfortunately, Wikipedia requires that all images used in articles be either released under a free license or contain a fair-use rationale. If you're still around, could you edit the image to include a copyright tag usable in Wikipedia ({{GFDL}} etc). See WP:ICT for the full selection. If a license isn't supplied, the image may be deleted from Wikipedia. GeeJo (t) (c) • 10:02, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

- Dear Geelo. I've spent hours reading this and that about copyright licences. Still haven't a clue what to do. It's all Greek to me.
- My image pages have no box for me to type in.
- So what do I type and HOW and where do I type it?
- All I want for my images is to say they are copyrighted, and need permission to be copied for any commercial purpose. They can be used w/o permission for non-commercial purposes, such as teaching a class or writing a paper in schools.
- So, step by step what do I do on my image page????????? Please don't keep it a secret or make me decipher 2 million webpages of instructions I cannot understand. Pleeeze? I'm 70, disabled, and just haven't the strength for the months it would take me to figure it out.

- from the sounds of it, what you're after is a CC-by-nc-sa 2.0 license, or possibly a CC-by-nc-nd license depending on your views about derivative works. Unfortunately, non-commercial licenses aren't compatible with wikipedia policy - Jimbo's decided that they didn't conform to the goals set by the WikiMedia Foundation. If the images are to stay on Wikipedia, you'll need to give permission for commercial usage GeeJo (t) (c) • 17:20, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

The file File:Image-Divje02.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
