Rushbugled13 (talk) 07:48, 24 November 2012 (UTC)DYK for Kappa Andromedae b
On 28 November 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Kappa Andromedae b, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Kappa Andromedae b, despite being only 12.8 Jupiter masses and located about 170 light years away, has been directly imaged by astronomers? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kappa Andromedae b. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Liberal Whitewashing
It seems you are a fan of liberal whitewashing. I suggest you let the real truth out instead of constant whitewashing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavoV (talk • contribs) 06:38, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- I would consider you previous comment on my talkpage an attack as well. If you want to debate it further, why not come over to conservapedia and let the truth set you free. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavoV (talk • contribs) 07:00, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
Pi
You posted on my talk page, so I looked up your user page. It so happens that you have memorized pi exactly 1 digit further than I have, which makes somewhat jealous. Thank you for helping me get started! Denlah (talk) 20:27, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- You're very welcome! And if you know 63 digits, you might as well know that the 64th digit is 2. :) Greengreengreenred 20:53, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

- Thanks, but I prefer to edit without those programs. And even if I wanted to use them, I can't because my computer's OS is Ubuntu. But I very much appreciate the thought! Greengreengreenred 01:57, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- Or maybe I could use them with my OS. Huh, I always thought I couldn't. But still, I prefer editing the old-fashioned way. But thanks again! Greengreengreenred 01:59, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

[[WP:AFC]]
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Articles for creation! We are a group of editors who work together on the Articles for creation and Files for upload pages.
A few tips that you might find helpful:
- Please take time to fully read the reviewers' instructions before reviewing submissions.
- The reviewers' talk page is the best place to ask for help or advice. You might like to watchlist this page, and you are encouraged to take part in any discussion that comes up.
- Article submissions that need reviewing can be found in Category:Pending AfC submissions and there is also a useful list which is maintained by a bot.
- You might wish to add {{AFC status}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
- Several of our members monitor the #wikipedia-en-help connect IRC channel, and you are welcome to join in to ask Wikipedia-related questions.
- The IRC channel #wikipedia-en-afc connect is used occasionally for internal discussion regarding the Articles for Creation process, and also serves as a recent changes feed, displaying all edits made in the Articles for Creation namespace.
- The help desk is the place where new editors can ask questions about their submissions. You are welcome to help in answering their questions.
Once again, welcome to the project. CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 06:36, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- This is another WikiProject. Would you like to join the WikiProject? Cheers, CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 00:14, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- I'll think about it. Right now I'm assessing unassessed literature and television articles via WikiProject Television and WikiProject Literature. Greengreengreenred 00:45, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Quick Q re designation of class
Dear Green, thanks for all your work as part of the book project. I have a quick question: You recently tagged Conquest of Mind (on its talkpage) as "C class". As someone who's worked on the page, I was wondering if you'd have a chance to give a few specifics about what you saw as necessary for it to advance to B class. (answer best on article talk page but also OK here or on my talk page) Many thanks in advance if you're able to spare the time to do this. Regards -- Presearch (talk) 06:12, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, the article does fit all qualifications for a B-class article. I'm not entirely sure why I designated it a C, but I've only been seriously involved in the designation of classes on articles for about 24 hours, so I'm certainly not an expert in designation. I clearly underestimated its quality, probably due to skimming a bit too fast on the article page. Thank you for bringing this to my attention; I have made the appropriate changes. If you have any more questions about possible errors in my designation of article classes, you're welcome to bring them up on this page. You could also simply change a designation if you do not agree with it; I most likely won't contest any changes to designations I've made, as I am not a perfect article class designator. Cheers! - Thanks for the kind and generous response. That's great news! I knew I'd tried hard in writing it, but sometimes I overlook things... so it's cheering to be told that I managed to cover it. Thanks again for your work on WP Books, and please have a wonderful day (and new year)! -- Presearch (talk) 11:06, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- No problem! Have a wonderful day and new year yourself! Greengreengreenred 18:28, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
