Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Marco Kroon, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. [edit]You have recently removed information from this article, giving as edit summary "This information is libel. My husband was there. This is a disgrace to those who served with him and made this award possible for him. This is complete crap. Leave it off."
Now This is a disgrace to those who served with him and made this award possible for him and This is complete crap is opinion, commonly referred to in Wikipedia connection as "POV" (short for "Point of View"), and Wikipedia policy is quite clear: the fact that some people dislike certain information being published is not grounds for deleting it.
On the other hand This information is libel would be reason for deleting the material, if the claim were substantiated. Can you provide evidence that the material is libellous? In the meanwhile I will ask on the article's talk page whether there is any substantiation for the information from the article; if not, then that would be grounds for removal, whether or not it is libellous.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that in Wikipedia expressions like "This is complete crap" are likely to antagonise other editors, and reduce the likelihood that your opinion will be accepted: being courteous is more likely to work in your interest. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask on my talk page. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:58, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
