Cervélo TestTeam - barnstar

The Original Barnstar
Nice work on Cervélo TestTeam - lovely to see your work put up in a first revival effort at such a high level of quality (exactly as you told me you would at my talk page).--VS talk 12:47, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. It was a needed article, but before that, a needed article title ;) Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 12:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Vanity Article

Vanity article Iain Ward This is worse than the Paul Grassi article. Nominate for deletion?--BSTemple (talk) 16:06, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Update It has been looked at by an administrator and as the player has played in a top division, the page can stay. I am amazed at that as he doesn't seem to have done anything, but naturally I will abide by the decision. Just to let you know, seeing as I had posted the earlier comment on your talk page. --BSTemple (talk) 17:29, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I have rewritten this article and fully cited it. I hope you can read over it and share your thoughts. • Freechild'sup? 16:03, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Can you please offer your help?

I have updated the Wikipedia article about Melih Abdulhayoglu, the CEO of Comodo.

I would value your opinions and edits of the article. This time I have tried extra-hard to keep the tone neutral. I would really appreciate your suggestions.

I feel that Melih is notable, not only for his patents, but also for his philanthropy. Because of Melih's business model, Comodo ensures that every Internet user has access to free firewall, antivirus and other security software. Comodo security software is now installed on 10 million computers worldwide. I don't know how to explain this on Melih's bio without sounding like puffery, but I wanted you to know about it.

Thanks for your help. Lakshmi VB Narsimhan 09:21, 21 January 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lakshmin (talkcontribs)

Any particular reason you're addressing me about this? Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 09:27, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
I thank you for your comment on my talk page. Also, I saw you contributed some good articles and thought you would suggest me in contributing for the article about Melih Abdulhayoglu.Lakshmi VB Narsimhan 10:25, 22 January 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lakshmin (talkcontribs)
Ok. Not sure if I actually told you anything useful, but I'm always up to help. Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 07:40, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

So which do we take as the better source: Cycling News or the UCI? Kevin McE (talk) 22:20, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, I'm pretty sure "Volodymyr Zagorodny" isn't Polish. Beyond that, a lot of the information could go either way. I was going off names collected from [1], [2], and [3] (articles giving ridership changes for 2009), and just took the nationality and DOB information from here if the rider had a Wikipedia article or cyclingwebsite.net if they didn't. Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 22:29, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
One other thing I see is that your revision doesn't have any names that mine didn't (mine has several that yours didn't, though). What are we going off for those riders not being on the team any longer? Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 22:34, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Yep: I made a mistake on Zago's nationality, and Sapa's alphabetical order. My only source was UCI, but I've just had a look at cyclingwebsite.org, which includes Longo (agreeing with your source) but excludes Baldato, Fornacciari, Stangelj, Ulissi and Vila (agreeing with mine), and includes Napolitano and Pelanek, whom neither of us had come up with! Baldato's article certainly suggests that he has retired, but even then, if his contract was for this season as well, he might still be nominally in the squad. It doesn't help that there is no live Lampre website (unless you know otherwise). Kevin McE (talk) 22:52, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
[4] ? I'm not sure. The list that's on the article right now does seem awfully big. I'm heading out for a few hours, I'll check back later. Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 22:58, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Good find. I think that we can take that as definitive: I'll update accordingly, and add that site on the UCI article while I'm at it. Kevin McE (talk) 23:26, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks a lot for reverting the vandalism to my user page. Really appreciated. "Legolas" (talk) 08:07, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. Just happened to see it in Huggle. Don't fall asleep zzzzzz 09:12, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
