Speedy deletion nomination of Gareth Rhodes
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gareth Rhodes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 03:23, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Complete human garbage
[edit]Hello Great Great Grandson,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Complete human garbage for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

- Great Great Grandson, if you create another page like this you will be blocked from editing. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:36, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Edgar181: are you referring to the page being a hoax or to the continuous creation of bad articles? GGG created an article failing WP:LISTN an hour after your notice. (I am not watching this page, so please ping me if you want my attention.) wumbolo ^^^ 15:53, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
- Great Great Grandson created Complete human garbage as a redirect to a biography of a living person. My comment was a reference to this clear violation of Wikipedia's WP:BLP policy and such behavior will not be tolerated here. Creation of the other articles, though potentially inappropriate for Wikipedia, are not in my opinion grounds for being blocked. Sorry that I was unclear. -- Ed (Edgar181) 16:02, 17 April 2018 (UTC)

The article List of protests in Albany, New York has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The focus of this list is too small to be useful or encyclopedic.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:49, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
The article Protests in Schenectady, New York has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is just an attempt at a collection of all protests ever to have happened in this town. That is not an encyclopedic topic; some of it may find its way into the main article for the city, but a school walkout, no.

Great Great Grandson (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
There was no consensus on the sockpuppet investigation page, and I was never given a chance to voice my defense
Decline reason:
On the sockpuppet investigation page, a checkuser determined that your accounts were technically related to several other Wikipedia accounts, and as a result of that, this block is here to prevent further abuse of multiple accounts. In order for your unblock request to be successful, you will need to explain why this block is no longer necessary to prevent disruption to Wikipedia—see Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks. Mz7 (talk) 22:05, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
