[edit]Hello Grant0417. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "sandbox/direwolf20".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Dalton Cyr, Sep 2013.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Dalton Cyr, Sep 2013.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:58, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- To expand on that, just because a photo was publicly published online does not mean it's in the public domain. For an image to be in the public domain, the copyright holder has to explicitly state that they are releasing all their rights to the image and allowing anyone to use it. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 08:00, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
- List of The Canon episodes
- added links pointing to The Searchers, Let Me In, Double Indemnity, Let the Right One In and American Beauty

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Grant0417. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Speedy deletion nomination of List of Congressional Dish episodes
[edit]Hello Grant0417,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of Congressional Dish episodes for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
