Speedy deletion nomination of Funny Misshapen Body
[edit]A tag has been placed on Funny Misshapen Body requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. December 2009
[edit]For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. WuhWuzDat 07:05, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Top Shelf Productions, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. You admitted your COIhere. This warning also applies to any article about any of Top Shelves' authors, as well as any of these authors books. WuhWuzDat 07:14, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. WuhWuzDat 07:14, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Grandmasterzel (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I sincerely apologize for not reading the Wikipedia rules more thoroughly before I took on the Top Shelf project, which I will let them know has to be abandoned. I acted in ignorance, but I would like to be a useful contributor to Wikipedia in the future and I will be more conscious of conflicts of interest and try hard to avoid them.
Decline reason:
Please put up a new unblock request when you've answered the questions at the bottom of the page; this is't a refusal to unblock you, just an effort to clear out our backlog. Hersfold (t/a/c) 05:18, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
What would you be editing if we unblocked you? Daniel Case (talk) 14:49, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
I would just like the opportunity to correct errors or omissions that I spot while browsing Wikipedia. For instance, I would add The Birthday Party by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five to Songs about birthdays. Grandmasterzel (talk) 17:33, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Catout_cover.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Catout_cover.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 14:56, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Questions regarding unblock request
[edit]All of your deleted edits are clear copyright violations as well as being promotional spam. The fact that they were commissioned by Top Shelf productions is immaterial. Therefore:
1. Do you fully understand the copyright regulations as they apply to edits posted in wikipedia?
2. And do you understand that you are required to abide by them?
3. Do you understand the wikpedia policy contained in WP:COI?
4. And do you understand that this policy would prevent you from editing any articles relating to Top shelf productions?
5. And do you understand WP:ADVERT?
Please answer at your convenience. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:54, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
