Good luck, and have fun. FWIW, Bzuk (talk) 23:51, 6 October 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Hi Graham, I'm assuming that this upcoming book is the one you were describing. FWiW, the Bristol Brabazon is another iconic aviation story and should also find a ready acceptance from aficionados. Bzuk (talk) 23:51, 6 October 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Yeah, the XB-70 book came out here in the UK 3 weeks back - I'm not sure when P&S are releasing it in the USA. The Brabazon book is due out next year from The History Press, along with another HB called 'Concorde Conspiracy, The Battle For American Skies' - that one will probably get me banned from the USA.

I dug my heels in over the Yeager/Walker thing simply because there are far too many myths and legends developing from ancient aviators whose memories are failing or who want to make themselves appear even more important than they were. Yeager has done more than enough to justify his position in history without disparaging others - inadvertently or otherwise. I've been involved with the B-17 Memphis Belle for many years and all the lies and legends that have built up over that are just incredible - so much BS has been written and told - especially by the Belle's pilot Robert 'Bob' Morgan - that myself and Dr Harry Friedman MD wrote 536 pages worth of Memphis Belle Dispelling the Myths back in 2008. One day I'll get around to correcting the Wiki entry on all related to that aircraft.

I keep threatening to put a page entry here on myself, but have never gotten around to it - I have always thought that perhaps it should be done by others.

My own title list is as follows: DH89 Dragon Rapide (Ian Allen Ltd, 1987) DH84 Dragon (GMS Enterprises, 1988) DH86 Express (GMS Enterprises, 1988) Western Airways (Redcliffe Press, 1988) Mosquito: The Original Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (Arms and Armour Press, 1990) The Spirit of Dan Air (GMS Enterprises, 1992) Colours in the Sky – The Story of Autair and Court Line (GMS Enterprises, 1994) It was Nice to Fly with Friends – The Story of Air Europe (GMS Enterprises, 1995) Memphis Belle – Dispelling the Myths (with Dr Harry Friedman, GMS Enterprises, 2008) Mosquito: The Original Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (revised reprint Pen & Sword 2011) B-17 Flying Fortess (Pen & Sword 2011) Valkyrie- The North American XB-70 (Pen & Sword 2011) Consolidated 24 Liberator (Pen & Sword 2012) Boeing B-29 Superfortress (Pen & Sword 2012) Images of War – Memphis Belle (Pen & Sword 2011) Concorde Conspiracy - The Battle for American Skies (The History Press 2012). Bristol Brabazon (The History Press 2012).

This does not include the hundred or so other titles I've published/ghost written for others. (GrahamSimons (talk) 08:07, 7 October 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Surprisingly, I also got involved in Wikiwackywonderland, when someone was editing an article based on one of my books. I began writing in earnest only in 2001 but have written 10 books and have been involved in 17 documentary films to date. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 08:22, 7 October 2011 (UTC).[reply]
