Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mamluk Sultanate, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Moreover, please do not mark edits as "minor" if you are removing or changing the substance of a statement. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Battle of Konya and Turkish Sudan. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. R Prazeres (talk) 22:40, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Apaugasma. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Wahhabi War, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 12:19, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed moves and POV edits

[edit]

Hi Gou388, you've made multiple problematic page moves since April that are problematic. You moved the page of Turco-Egyptian Sudan despite the fact that you were told earlier (per the notices above) and then told again by this revert not to impose your own without going through a WP:RM. And you also moved Egyptian Sudan, a disambiguation page, twice for no reason. You then similarly moved Turco-Egyptian conquest of Sudan (1820–1824) on your own without discussion or explanation. Please do not move articles again without going through the process outlined at WP:RM. If you make undiscussed moves again, you may be reported to administrators at WP:ANI.

I've also noticed many of your edits seem to be about adding the word "Egyptian" or removing the other ethnic terms like "Turkish" without explanation, and often without good reason (e.g. [1], [2]). Please note that Wikipedia is committed to a neutral point of view and all changes must be based on reliable sources. Making unmotivated changes to national and ethnic terms is often a violation of these policies. You were already warned about disruptive edits above; so again, if you continue to make these kinds of edits you may be reported to WP:ANI. R Prazeres (talk) 17:53, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kingdom of Egypt, you may be blocked from editing. R Prazeres (talk) 19:05, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
