You're in the class too, I take it?

You should chill out and talk to your teacher about what you all are up to. This kind of thing is very, very not OK.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 20:37, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We are trying really hard to understand the basics of Wikipedia. We have never interacted with the site other than as a resource. We understand the benefits of the wiki and the help other users can give us. We are more than willing to edit our page according to what more experienced users suggest but we didn't find your edits very constructive. I only edited the part on your page because according to the comments you left us, we need to be very critical of what others post and the sources they use for their information. Trying to be as thorough as possible, I was curious as to how detailed sources need to be. I honestly don't see a difference in the way your articles are cited and the way our information was cited. According to your page, you practice insidious drive-by deletionism. We are trying our best to improve this article and mean no harm in any way. Deleting information that we feel was relevant without any alternative suggestions makes it really hard for us. We have already e-mailed our professor the moment we realized how much you deleted from our page because we don't know how to proceed. Maybe you feel that our information was similar to the sources cited, and we all swear that we didn't copy and paste, and don't feel like we plagiarized at all. We were just following the guidelines of other Wikipedia articles that we have visited throughout the years. That's just how we thought it worked. Also, I did not stalk you, but just clicked a few links to find more information about your Wikipedia history, which is exactly what you did to all of us. Fine. Read WP:BRD and see how it works. You put stuff in, that's being bold. Someone doesn't like it and takes it out. That's reverting. Then they start sections on the talk page and everyone chills out and discusses it. Also, you all are using super low quality sources, like tourism websites rather than books, journal articles, or newspapers. And despite what you say, your work is far, far too closely paraphrased. We can discuss it on the talk pages of the articles if you want, but really, you'd do best to stay away from those tourism websites. They're all probably plagiarized themselves, and what's not is just made up.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 21:03, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
