questions about Countly , plus some sources I found

[edit]

Hellow Gorkemcetin74, over on the Draft_talk:Countly page I've left you some analysis of the WP:SOURCES. Also, I've left you some questions about the curious story of Draft:Count.ly (with oddly-added period!) over on User_talk:Peridon. If you don't get this message before one or both of those discussions is archived, or if you'd just rather open a new conversation-thread, you can reach me at my own talkpage in my signature, click 'talk' and then click 'new section' at the top, type me a note, and click save. Thanks much, 75.108.94.227 (talk) 00:40, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks, I received your email. What is your username btw? I only see an IP address. Gorkemcetin74 (talk) 16:36, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Gorkemcetin74 , actually I did not email you. But sometimes people configure their wikipedia settings, to automatically send email when they get a message on their talkpage. I only use my IP address, I don't have a username. See WP:HUMAN.  :-)     If you have some time, I would be happy to work with you on seeing whether Countly passes WP:42. Just leave me a note here, User_talk:75.108.94.227.
As for the other stuff, perhaps admins User:Peridon and perhaps User:Risker would like to ask for your help, Gorkemcetin, with the strange behavior you noted here.[1] Peridon, see also the archived usertalk-thread when Gorkemcetin74 came to complain about User:Jinlizzy's behavior (which later turned out to be WP:Orangemoody) here, User_talk:Peridon/Archives/2015/September#Countly_-_Speedy_Deletion. Gorkemcetin74, you didn't do anything wrong, and indeed, you helped wikipedia uncover some people that WERE doing things wrong, so don't be alarmed.  :-)     75.108.94.227 (talk) 23:52, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, sorry I didnt reply to you earlier about what I can do to make my article pass. I just spent too much time on it, but seeing it doesn't pass really turns me down. I'll definitely have a look at it when I have some spare time. I sincerely thank you for your hard work to let me understand what is wrong with the article, and what can be done to improve it. Really appreciated. Gorkemcetin74 (talk) 12:54, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, wikipedia can be a pain, there are a lot of rules! But do not lose hope yet.  :-)   If you can please find some sources, with multiple paragraphs about Countly, in Turkish-language newspapers and magazines, I know a wikipedian who has turkish-to-english skills. Please leave me a note on my user-talkpage, when you need some help, and I'll be happy to work with you on cleaning up the Countly article to make it acceptable per the wiki-rules. You can also ask for help at the unofficial #wikipedia-en-help connect live-chat, sometimes I'm there but there myself, but if not there *is* usually some experienced wikipedian there to answer questions. Thanks, 75.108.94.227 (talk) 15:59, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

request for help dealing with the people behind User:Jinlizzy

[edit]

Gorkem, if you have not done so already, can you please email your complaint about the events in September/October related to User:Jinlizzy, to this official email?

info-orangemoody@wikipedia.org

The person that approached you, and allegedly asked for money, has already been blocked from editing wikipedia, as you can see at User:Jinlizzy, as part of the Orangemoody cleanup.

However, the information you have may be helpful to the wikipedians in further investigating the problem, and keeping it from happening again!

To be clear, *you* have not done anything wrong, this is just an email address, where a wikipedia WP:OTRS person, can ask some questions to see if the wikipedia admins can help prevent bad things from happening to good people in the future. Make sense?

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, you can click 'talk' next to my IP address, then click 'new section' and leave me a note. Thanks, 75.108.94.227 (talk) 16:37, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
