[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Carnatic Wars, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 13:41, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Carnatic Wars, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Sorry i forgot to add a summary. It was my own edits that I removed. I wrote additional info that is the same.
Infobox geo changes
[edit]You have in multiple articles replaced British India with British Raj. These have separate meanings and are not interchangeable, the former refers to the place/geo while the latter is used for the administration/government. There is a consensus/precedent to use British India as the location, please do not change this. Gotitbro (talk) 19:04, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Get your facts right, British India was also an administrative government ruled by the British colonists. Last time I checked, the British Raj had already started when Alan Turing's father worked there.
- I am talking about the terminology here, the Raj is the government not the territory/place. Please show competence, familiarize yourself with Wikipedia (WP:SIGN your comments at least) before engaging in disruptive editing and edit warring with other users.
