Welcome!
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Meira Paibi, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Meira Paibi, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. You need policy-based reasons for deleting reliably sourced content. You can open a talk page discussion for contesting particular content, and obtain WP:CONSENSUS. Your own opinions are not good enough. Kautilya3 (talk) 19:37, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Meira Paibi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- Kautilya3, Stop sending me messages. I dont need your opinion and it is not appreciated. Your work on wikipedia is a proof that Wikipedia is not a credible platform. You are no guru when it comes to information. The world should know that you are spearheading a propaganda against the Meiteis. You vandalised wiki pages on the Manipur Violence to suit your narrative. The law will catch up against you for tarnishing the image of the Meitei people. . Ponyobons mots 20:19, 8 March 2024 (UTC)- In addition, your personal attacks are completely unacceptable on a collaborative project. This will also need to be addressed if you wish to be unblocked.-- Ponyobons mots 20:19, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- @PonyoYou are blocking the wrong user when you should ideally be scrutinizing the edit activities of @Kautilya3. I did not make legal threats or take legal action against user @Kautilya3. I apprised him that his edits on the Manipur Violence can be subject to legal scrutiny. By blocking me, you are allowing @Kautilya3 to continue floating a one-sided narrative. He has a history of vandalizing wiki pages on matters related to India and its people on the basis of a narrative that suits him. Example: https://twitter.com/Wiki_India_Bias/status/1231126930516250624.
- One more example is the fact that 'Anti-Christian sentiment' is listed as one of the reasons of the Manipur Violence. This is not accurate. 2023–2024 Manipur violence. This has made the rest of the world look at the conflict as a persecution of a religious group. We are unable to correct this misinformation because @Kautilya3 has locked the page. Locking the page beats the purpose of transparency and accuracy. Goodshoemaker (talk) 20:39, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- You are welcome to appeal the block using the method described in my block message. Do not ping me again.-- Ponyobons mots 20:41, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- It's funny how you pinged me unsolicited first, and then you are now telling me 'do not ping me'. I fell off my chair reading your 'do not ping me'. lmao. Goodshoemaker (talk) 21:15, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
