Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, GoodBoy69! Thank you for your contributions. I am Kerry Raymond and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Discover what's going on in the Wikimedia community
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Kerry (talk) 06:56, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
Minor edit
[edit]I notice you are ticking the "minor edit" when you probably should not be. The meaning of Minor edit is that you have not changed the information in the article, only things like fixing spelling, grammar, etc. The general advice on minor edits is, if in doubt, don't tick it. Unfortunately people who vandalise Wikipedia tend to use "minor edit" all the time in the hope of flying under the radar, so anyone with a lot of minor edits attracts some suspicion for this reason, so that's another reason not to do it too much. Wikipedia can be a large and confusing place. If you need help, just ask. 07:02, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
Using full DOBs
[edit]See WP:BLPDOB. Thanks. I don't think most editors know this. Doug Weller talk 17:55, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
