Heads up
[edit]Just for the record the infoboxes on hurricane, typhoon and cyclone articles all use knots as the input figure not MPH.Jason Rees (talk) 23:58, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Erika
[edit]Hey there. Just a heads up, the track map for tropical cyclones only include the points in the finalized track produced by the warning center, which is the National Hurricane Center in this case. To manually add the track points for Erika's remnants would constitute original research, which is against Wiki policy. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 23:39, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert the edits of others to a revision that you like. Such behavior is known as edit-warring and is grounds for a block. If you want to make a change to something that has been disputed or will likely be disputed by others, start a discussion first, and make the change later ONLY if you gain consensus to do so. BTW, the tropical cyclones WikiProject has seen far too many edit wars recently, particularly regarding infobox images. We will not be so lenient towards those who continue to start more edit wars in those areas moving forward. Anyone who deliberately starts another edit war will be reported. I didn't get into any editing war I just reverted something once and gave criticism because I feel like you guys are being unfair. @LightandDark2000
- No. You reverted to revisions that were disputed, which counts as continuing or restarting an edit war. If you want to make one of of those disputed changes, discuss it on the appropriate talk page first. Making the changes yourself without consensus otherwise constitutes edit-warring, and is grounds for a block. BTW, you have the right to your own opinions and to criticize (within reason), but you cannot attack other users, as I've seen on a few occasions. Calling the work of other editors "crap", and other similar kinds of statements, is simply not acceptable. LightandDark2000 🌀 (talk) 20:22, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
Wdym by disputed? Also I don;t recall calling someone crap, but I might have used the word out of frustration. If I did, I apologize.
