Well done to Epbr123 and Alex valavanis respectively. Two of our featured articles, Elliott Smith and "Smells Like Teen Spirit", were featured on the main page in May. We collaborated on Anthony Kiedis, Pearl Jam, Kurt Cobain and Soundgarden during the past month. During the month of May, Black Lab, Just Like Heaven (song) and Pearl Jam were promoted to good article status.	New members Burnedthru, TommyStardust, Grovermj, KamrynMatika, Merzbow and Cbing01 all joined the alternative music fold during May. Editors User:CloudNine

My Chemical News Congratulations to Gerard! He and his girlfriend Eliza are now engaged. MCR is continuing The Black Parade World Tour with a couple of shows in Europe. MCR's new video for Teenagers premiered Wednesday, May 30. You can find it at [1] Mikey will be taking time off the tour for a honeymoon. His replacement will be Matt Cortez. Cortez will play bass until further notice. MCR will be on the Projekt Revolution tour starting at the end of July. Did you have a mom and shit like that?" - Gibby Haynes Project news Californication (album), Dookie, Be Here Now, and By the Way reached featured article status and Wilco discography reached featured list status in the past month! We now have 20 articles of featured quality. Well done to the various WP:RHCP editors, Xihix, Ceoil, WesleyDodds, and Teemu08. Kate Bush was featured on the Main Page on July 30. We collaborated on Meat Puppets, In Utero, "Touch Me I'm Sick", John Frusciante, and Zeitgeist (The Smashing Pumpkins album) during the past month. During the month of July, Sky Blue Sky, R.E.M. (band), "Monkey Gone to Heaven", A.M. (album), The Cure, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Wilco, Loose Fur, John Frusciante, A Ghost Is Born and Being There (album), a total of 11 articles, were promoted to good article status; a record month. We now have 33 GAs, out of a total of ~680 articles.

New members Killereditors, Xihix, M2Ys4U and Lostvalley joined the alternative music fold during July. Editors User:CloudNine, User:WesleyDodds
